You should monitor your library account regularly to see what items are checked out, your due dates, and what items you have on hold. You can also pay your fees online.

Instructions for Viewing Your Account Online

1. Go to the library online catalog.
2. Click on "My Account."
3. Enter your barcode number (the number on the back of your library card) and PIN (usually the last four digits of your phone number).
4. Click "Log In."
5. On the left side of the screen, you will see a menu with "Items Out," "Requests," "Fines" and "Fees."

Your PIN/Password

You will need to know your four-digit PIN/password to log in to the self-check machines, library computers, the Digital Library and your library account. Your PIN is set to be the last four digits of your phone number, unless you requested a different four-digit number when you received your library card.

If your PIN number is not working, please call the library at 623-930-3600 to have your PIN reset.  You must have your library card number (the barcode number from the back of your library card) to have your PIN reset.

You can also have your PIN reset at any Glendale Public Library location.  Just speak to staff at any library service desk.

Privacy and Security

Notify the library immediately if your card or keytag is lost or stolen.  Anyone in possession of your card may check out materials with it.  You are responsible for all materials and fees on your library account.

Detailed information about a library card account may only be discussed with the cardholder or parent/legal guardian on the account.

Library staff are required to ask identifying questions before discussing any detailed information on an account. This is for the privacy and protection of all our patrons.
