Scanners/Copiers
All Glendale Public Library locations have free black & white/color scanning available through our public copy machines. Please bring your own USB drive to save your scanned files. Printed black & white copies are 20 cents per page, and color copying is not available.
3D Printing Service
Are you a businessperson, entrepreneur or inventor who needs a prototype of a product or invention? Are you a hobbyist, costume designer or cosplayer in need of an accessory? For anyone who needs small-scale 3D printing, it costs just 10 cents per gram to bring your creation to life!
All four of our library locations have a 3D printer. This is a device that prints three-dimensional objects using PLA filament. To create objects for printing, you can design your own item using 3D modeling software (TinkerCAD, Blender, etc.) or download files from
thingiverse.com. Send us your .STL file(s) with
this online form, and we will print it for you. Most items can be printed in only seven to ten working days. You will receive an email when your item is ready for pickup.
Multiple filament colors are available; please contact
[email protected] to find out which colors are currently in stock.
IDEA Center Equipment
The Main Library's
IDEA Center features two dedicated job-searching computers, a Canon black & white/color scanner (please bring your own USB drive to save your scanned files), a computer with specialized multimedia software, free résumé printing, and more.
A faxing service is not available at the IDEA Center or any other Glendale Public Library location.
