Heroes StoryWalk® Grand Opening - Tuesday, April 2, 10:30-11:30 AM - For Families with Children - Heroes Regional Park LibraryJoin us for the grand opening of Glendale Public Library's newest StoryWalk® at the Heroes Regional Park Library from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2. Set against the serene backdrop of the park's lake, this event is free and open to the public, featuring engaging crafts and activities for all ages.

The new StoryWalk® will be accessible to the public during regular park hours, seven days a week. The first story will be Way Out West Lives a Coyote Named Frank by Jillian Lund, reviewed as a "beguiling debut" by Publishers Weekly and a "visual feast of cavorting coyotes, skeptical scorpions, and tormented tortoises" by Horn Book. Take part as we celebrate this exciting addition to our community!

StoryWalk® promotes health and literacy for children and combines the pleasures of reading a children’s book with the joys and benefits of being together outdoors. It’s a fun, educational activity for everyone. The story changes every three months, so you can come back and visit again.

Follow the path, follow the story!
